Forever Home Sanctuary, a Vernon-based charity organization, is providing a safe haven for over 40 animals affected by the recent wildfires, thanks to the support of the community and volunteers. The sanctuary has been coordinating rescues, providing shelter, and caring for animals in need. Recently, some evacuated animals got to return home, while others, like five little chickens, found a new temporary home at the sanctuary. Forever Home Sanctuary continues to open its doors for animals and people affected by the crisis.
