How to Live in the Moment

Ever feel like you blinked and a whole month blew by? Or go through an entire day and not remember what you did?

ME TOO.

Guess what? Life doesn’t have to be like that.

Whaaaa??? That’s right sister I said it.

Even in the hustle and bustle of today where everyone is working a side hustle and keeping up with the Jones’s, you have a choice.  YOU have a choice… to live in the moment, to let go of the past and to stop worrying about the future.

Okay this sounds amazing Jess but easier said than done?

Don't worry girl I got you.

Top three ways to live in the moment:

1. Choose activities that light you up! Are you hitting the gym because you want to or because you feel like you should? Explore other things like swimming, biking, hiking, anything that brings a huge smile to your face! Choosing to do something every day that you are passionate about not only re-lights your fire and keeps you grounded, but also helps you attract in the energy that you want to create.

2. Sloooow down. Notice how time flies when you are in a rush or feeling frantic? Take 3 long slow breaths. Relax your jaw and the skin on your face. Pay attention to the sights/sounds and smells around you. These simple sensational awareness exercises will instantly help you drop into the present moment.

3. Listen to your body. This one, is in my opinion, the most important. Take the time to pay attention to what your body is telling you. Get curious! Our bodies are full of wisdom.

That’s it! Try these simple tips and let me know if you notice a shift ✨
